History

• Initiated over 3,600 years ago by Ásmundur "ÍsvængurIcewing" Ásgeir, its prophet
  • Ísvængur literally had wings of ice
  • Vistad was built at the place of his death, on an island in the Silver Sound
• Vistad spread the religion and formed the First Silver Empire, led by priests
  • Location of Vistad was amenable to controlling trade in the sound
• After ~500 years, Leviathan sank Vistad into the sound with unprecedented flooding
  • The Empire fell, but the religion survived
